Tips on How to find FREE Cereal Samples

1. Local stores

Large stores usually have sample stands in their grocery section—brand ambassadors book this section to place their free samples. Cereal fits into the category, so you can find free samples here in stores running the promotion. Weekends and holidays are the time when many free sample events happen. Pop into a store in your neighborhood at those times to see if they have free cereal samples on display.

2. Brand official websites and social media pages

Any brand, including cereals, will include information about its products and free sample offers on its website. Information on the official site creates credibility and check the accuracy of information as some sources might spread incorrect data. You are likely to find a link with a form with fields for prospective buyers to fill in certain information that qualifies them to get free samples. The brand can decide to mail the free samples if you qualify to get some or share a list of stores where you can redeem or find them.

3. Visit official brand social media pages

Almost all brands rely on social media to pass on their current and new products or services. Visit the social media platforms of cereal makers and distributors frequently to keep up with announcements. The announcement can be a Facebook page post informing 'friends' about free samples and where to find them. Sometimes it can be a request to share the posting with a particular number of people for you to earn a free sample. Others use Twitter to tweet brief messages, so ensure you are following them.
Many companies now offer free samples on social media because the product is likely to go viral and reach thousands when people share information about the product.

4. Magazine ads

Look for magazines and other publications that review products. They target people who are not enthusiastic about social media, so they carry ads that mention the places to find products, including cereal samples. You are more likely to find ads that include a space to fill and mail the manufacturers to receive a free sample.

5. Brand email newsletters

Sign up for email newsletters and notifications! They typically send out emails offering  free samples.

6. Don't Get Scammed

Some fraudsters take advantage of the demand for free samples to run unofficial promotions. Make a habit of checking manufacturer and distributor official websites and social media platforms to establish if they have a legitimate offer.
Avoid platforms with conditions that require you to spend money on free samples or provide financial and credit card data. The scammers usually pressure people to pay or provide specific information quickly.
